Account and Data Deletion
Delete your CribNotes account and data
This page explains how CribNotes users can request deletion of their app account and associated data, including child records they own.
Request account deletion
Enter the email address for the CribNotes account you want deleted. If you can still sign in, you can also delete your account in Settings.
In-app deletion
If you can sign in to CribNotes, open Settings, go to My Profile, and choose Delete Account. Confirming that action deactivates your account and starts the deletion process.
Your account and associated data are preserved for 30 days so you can request restoration during that period. After the 30-day restore period, CribNotes intends to permanently delete your account and child records you own, subject to legal, security, billing, backup, and operational retention needs.
Request deletion by email
If you cannot access the app, or if you want to request earlier permanent deletion, email [email protected] from the email address associated with your CribNotes account. Include the subject line "CribNotes account deletion request".
We may ask for information needed to verify that you control the account before completing the request. Do not send passwords, payment card numbers, or sensitive medical details by email.
What is deleted
- Your CribNotes user account and profile information.
- Child profiles and child records that you own.
- Care logs, notes, health-related records, location records, notification preferences, and other app data associated with records you own.
- Push notification tokens and device subscriptions associated with your account where technically available.
What may be retained
Some information may be retained when required for legitimate reasons, including security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, billing records, tax records, dispute resolution, backup recovery, or service integrity. If child records are shared with other authorized caregivers, deletion can affect their access to those records. Some records may remain if another account independently owns or is legally entitled to retain them.
